February 15, 2010 - When the little things count

You hear it all the time… “It’s the little things that count.”  I have spent a good portion of my day delving an amazing amount of time and energy into this simple principle.  As I continue my journey in life and business, choosing to accept this elementary form of thinking will be crucial to establishing lasting relationships.  I want to move forward and succeed, and in doing so, adopting a mindset to detail is imperative.  By addressing the little things, we are forming great habits and discipline.
As much of this can be applied to business, I appreciate its effectiveness in relationships as well.  Hopefully you will see that this ideal is applied to more than just following up on a business call, or waiting to send an e-mail out of frustration.  By developing this beneficial habit, we are making ourselves accountable to our relationships, and future clients.  I look forward to experiencing this first hand, and reaping its benefits-landing a sale, future client, helping others, gossip free, asking questions, para-phrasing, the list continues… over time this discipline will pay off.  Through persistence and hard work you inherit a title of prestige and class.
To become a specialist by appointing a new “mindset”, we are creating an image and organization worthy of praise-I want this.  I have goals of establishing JNava Clothing as a company who diversifies itself in its own right, a family business who wants to succeed, and doesn’t accept anything less.  I don’t recall where I heard this from but it has always stuck:  “If you are going to do something, do it right.” I encourage you to accept this simple principle, and by choosing to do so, you will open doors of promise and success.  I wish all of you victory and happiness, whichever your endeavor in life!
All the best,
VP
