While clothing personifies a unique expression – shoes awaken our inner personality!  Dating back more than 40,000 years, the evolution of footwear has seen many different functions.  Through the centuries, cultures have crafted tailored soles using numerous materials – straw, leather, cowhide, grasses, and wood.  Landscapes and social class have inspired creative works of art, both fulfilling a need in style or activity.  With the progression of technology and demand, modernization has taken over this intricate craft.  My love for shoes runs deep... nothing says more about a person than the soles on their feet.  I have found some fantastic pics, all of them displaying an exclusive style – enjoy!
